SMS 2FA sends a code to your phone via text message. It's easy to set up and doesn't require an extra app. However, it can be vulnerable to SIM-swap attacks and delays in receiving codes.

Authenticator apps generate codes on your device without needing a network connection. They're more secure and faster, but require you to install an app and back up your codes.

Which One Should You Pick? For most users, we recommend an authenticator app. It offers better security and reliability. If you frequently change phones or prefer simplicity, SMS is acceptable but less secure. At 90jili, we support both methods.
